1. Open Undaunted chests with saved keys for a chance to get jewels with the Harmony and Protected traits
2. Open any saved coffers for a chance at getting jewellery that can now be deconstructed*. Weekly trial rewards also have a chance to drop jewels with the new traits (Harmony, Bloodthirsty).
3a. Collect treasure chests from saved maps with toons that have the Treasure Hunter passive for a chance of getting jewels to deconstruct.
3b. Grind dolmens on characters with the Treasure Hunter Passive.
4. Gather all new, deconstruct-able jewels in main crafter who has the Inspiration Boost passive from the green CP constellation
5. Get 1-day reduction in research time scroll with vouchers, if available, from master writ merchant**
6. Go to Felurion, an NPC in Alinor to get your Crafting certification (these usually point your toon to nodes if you don’t have materials, so make sure to grab all the nodes).
7. Research a trait if you get a jewel with a new trait from undaunted keys/coffers/rewards, or an old trait on jewels from dolmens/maps, etc. Start with a trait that is useful for most of your toons, so for example if you play mostly magicka characters, research 'arcane' first, instead of something like 'robust'.
8. Deconstruct jewels, and remember to put points into extraction as you level, as well as into hireling. Do the daily jewellery writs for materials, xp, and a chance to receive a jewellery with the Swift trait.
9. Obtain jewels with new traits by finishing the Summerset and Psijic order story lines (Protective, Triune), as well as from the new Cyrodill daily (non-repeatbale) quests (Triune, Bloodthristy), and from looting psijic portals around Tamriel (Infused) 10. Research new traits and approximately after 84 years, you’ll be a master jewellery crafter!

*This depends on whether coffer contents get updated **If such scrolls become available. We currently have them for the other crafts, so hopefully we’ll get them for jewels as well, and they are obtainable with writ vouchers or in-game gold which is great.
